International Scoliosis Center

The Spine Division under the leadership of Dr. Per Trobisch at Eifelklinik St. Brigida offers a wide range of spinal operations, including the full spectrum of surgical treatment for spinal deformities which is considered to be among the most complex of spinal surgeries.

Dr. Trobisch is a member of the Scoliosis Research Society and an internationally renowned scoliosis expert. The hospital serves as training site for visiting surgeons from various countries and offers the ideal environment for recovery.

Non-Fusion scoliosis surgery is one of the main focuses. Dr. Trobisch was the first surgeon to perform a Dynamic Anterior Scoliosis correction (a.k.a. Vertebral Body Tethering) in Germany. Currently, there are one to two international patients weekly who receive Dynamic Anterior Scoliosis Correction in Simmerath.

If you are a patient or a family member of a patient with scoliosis who is seeking surgical treatment in Simmerath, please contact Dr. Trobisch’s office via email at info@st-brigida.de .

We kindly ask you to send additional information such as age, diagnosis, previous treatment, and x rays.
